Cloudy Day

Today wasn't as nice as yesterday. Too many grey clouds overhead and colder temps. So I finished a couple of books- Almost Paradise by Susan Isaacs and Trio of Sorcery by Mercedes Lackey.

In case you're wondering, I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to books. The number of fiction books is slowly being overtaken by the number of non-fiction. The top three categories of nob-fiction are craft books, cook books, and books about words- not just dictionaries- but books about words.

I never posted a picture of the eggs my brother sent. The note in the Christmas card said "Some eggs to go with your Spam." Someone had hacked his email and I was getting Viagra mail.

And as promised, a picture of Nellie wearing her green collar.

My new knitting pouch next to its inspiration
Today I made a pouch based on the pouch I had some knitting needles in. The fabric doesn't match up because I just sewed some leftover strips together and  doubled them twice until they made a square. I added batting, a lining, and the zipper. I think next time, I'll use heavy duty interfacing instead of batting to make a stiffer pouch.

So how was your day?
