Babycakes wanted to go somewhere. She grabbed her play phone, dropped it in her purse, put on her shades and kept saying"bye-bye." Quite the girly-girl.

I took her to Olbrich Gardens to see the holiday display. Here's a link to some pictures of the display, before and after. Actually the pictures start at the bottom so they're more like after and before. There were a couple of model trains running amid hundreds of poinsettias. Several area bakeries contributed gingerbread houses and a gingerbread train. Miss Babycakes wasn't too impressed with the first train she saw, but there was a model of the Polar Express and that got a big "Wow!" from her.

After she tired of watching the Polar Express circle around, we went into the Bolz Conservatory. I think this will be one of her favorite places to go. She watched the birds, touched a few plants but what she liked best was standing on the bridge watching the koi and goldfish in the indoor stream. I had a hard time getting her to walk anywhere else. When we walked out, she went back to the door to go in again.

We had a good day together.
